Change of Paradigm: A Holistic Shift in Wellbeing
Bridging Māori teachings and Swiss culture to reshape the way we heal and connect
Returning Home with a New Lens
My years in Aotearoa (New Zealand) were transformative — not just personally, but spiritually and culturally. The Māori way of living, deeply connected to land, spirit, and community, challenged and enriched my worldview. When I returned to Switzerland after the pandemic, I realized how much of that wisdom I was bringing back with me. But reintegrating wasn’t easy. I had to adapt everything I had learned to a new rhythm — one shaped by Western values of individualism and speed.
Western societies often see well-being as something clinical or private. In contrast, Māori culture treats healing as communal, sacred, and deeply relational. As a holistic guide and doula, I found myself bridging these worlds. It became clear that in order to truly support others, I had to integrate both approaches — to create a path where ancient roots and modern realities could meet.
Healing as a Collective Responsibility
Healing isn’t just about the individual. It’s about the environment, our relationships, and the stories we carry. In Switzerland, I felt called to help shift the narrative — to speak openly about the connection between mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. The more we normalize support, vulnerability, and holistic care, the more we create a compassionate culture where everyone can thrive.

Kia Ora Healing: Building Bridges
Through Kia Ora Healing, I offer practices like Romiromi, Mirimiri, women’s circles, placenta medicine, and doula care. These are not just services — they are invitations to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the sacred. My mission is to create safe spaces where people can rediscover their inner wisdom and walk their healing path with strength, support, and sovereignty.
🌿 Practice: Mapping Your Personal Healing Culture
Reflect on your upbringing and cultural background. What messages did you receive about healing, emotions, and well-being? Now, list practices or beliefs from other cultures that resonate with you. How could you blend them to create your own healing path?
Let this practice be a bridge between your roots and your becoming.
